Dr. Claudette Lomonaco

Optometrist

Dr. Claudette Lomonaco is a full-scope, private practice optometrist who has been serving the Bronx since 2002. Dr. Lomonaco attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) and graduated in 2001 with clinical honors. She completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in Montrose, NY. Her interests include the management of ocular diseases, including glaucoma, cataract, diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, and dry eye.

Born in the Bronx, Dr. Lomonaco attended Cardinal Spellman High School and Fordham University before heading off to Philadelphia for optometry school. For ten years she practiced in various offices in the Bronx and Yonkers. In 2012 Dr. Lomonaco returned back to her roots and established Throggs Neck Vision Associates with the goal of providing high-quality, personalized eye care to the community. She's truly passionate and dedicated to the field of optometry and actively stays up to date with evolving research and trends

Dr. Lomonaco is a mother of three and enjoys cooking and reading in her free time. She is very active in the community and is an advocate for supporting local businesses.
